The Trump Administration’s hiring freeze has led the National Parks Service to cancel job offers for seasonal employees. We are concerned this could leave our parks understaffed during the busy summer season, which sees over 100 million visitors annually.
If you are a federal employee, it is advised to set your social media accounts to private to prevent outside viewership, as reports suggest that loyalty screenings have begun.
This is becoming absurd—federal employees are now being told to remove pronouns from their email signatures. We will always stand by our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, no matter how many things we’re asked to delete or change. Inclusivity is at the core of who we are.
