It's been two years since we lost my grandma. I know she had dementia, her health was so bad and she didn't remember who I was but I wish she was still around. I wish I could cut up an avocado for her or just sit with her as she watched the squirrels outside her window.

two years ago I was back on a plane to America for a funeral. I’m thankful I got to go on this trip because I got to see uncle one last time before he too passed away. Winter is always hardest on me. I felt so much love from my #runningpunks family though. I’ll always remember that.
