I miss that too. But even then we knew it was all under threat.
We didn't know how extensive that threat was. We didn't really know it was a highly organized takeover of everything we had and have in American life.

Either they don't care or they're cowards. Or they're simply too stupid to recognize what's right in front of them.

I hear that a lot of WI Medicaid recipients lost their health care last week due to unemployment. Some, if not many of those people have disabilities which interfere with getting and/or keeping jobs. It must be hard enough without losing health care too.

The only time he pretends to be "nice" is when it's part of a con job. He cares about nothing but himself. Other people are either in the way, or a vehicle to get what he wants.

He should be removed from this job, for which he is 100% unqualified.

DonOld caused enough damage. It's time put in a person with real medical credentials and respected experience. The US needs someone far better in this dept, and not a person who has been totally compromised.

During the 2024 election period, I often had a visceral feeling about what might happen.

Now I have that sort of feeling all the time. Unless one is among the very wealthy, unwelcome things are happening or are about to happen to many of us.

Starting with Citizens United, which should be overturned.

Interesting that it's also 10 years since DonOld got himself on the political stage.

I would guess most people don't know that line of footwear is made in China.

And most people don't know that it's exempt from tariffs.

For some people it's not so easy, especially at this time. Some people really can't get a job right now. Some of those people are disabled, but not physically disabled. And some cities or towns have very limited opportunities available.

There are a lot of reasons for unemployment.

I'm sure you know a lot more about how to do that. Maybe you could tell people who are connected to social media "algos" how to improve what they're doing to get better results?

He only cares about politics as it involves himself desperately trying to prove he deserves attention and respect. He cares that his word will decide about people's health. He cares that people are impacted by his ill-advised decisions, but not about whether they are wise decisions or not.

Start that education with RFKJr.

What they're doing with that wealth is keeping it for themselves and making more money on it. What they're doing with the power is wielding it over politicians to make sure they pass laws that will ensure that the wealthiest and most powerful remain that way, and add to it.

I think what he really wanted was to get more national recognition and some power for himself, not just as the son of RFK. So he got those two things, and is now despised by an awful lot of people, including me.

But whoever was filming it got several unmasked faces. The camera could be zoomed in and enlarged to try to identify them.

He's so blatant about his corruption, lies and cheating, that an investigation seems superfluous. But if this goes anywhere, there will be one. I'd bet that JD is secretly hoping for it. I'd like to see him impeached too, but I'll settle for DonOld's first.

Someone should open an investigation into her. Everything she does, and everything that she's allowing to happen in that dept, has looked corrupt. Definitely not independent, she takes direct orders from DonOld.

Nope. We know she's lying. We know he's lying. But the victims are truthful, even though it's very difficult to talk about it.
