What I find particularly funny about this post is that the account is setup as if it’s Optimus responding, but you know a human wrote it.

Just like all of Optimus’ public demos so far, it’s a human trying to pass as a robot.

It's hard work though. I just checked today and I wrote 13,463 articles at Electrek over 10 years. That's an average of 3.7 articles per day, including the weekends, no days off.

That's nuts.

That's not an accurate representation. I've become increasingly negative on Musk in 2019. That's when he called me "anti-Tesla", which I clearly wasnt to be fair. I started turning on sour on Elon, not Tesla yet -just some of his moves at Tesla.

The Roadster wasn't even supposed to come until 2020.

I'm writing factual articles about him. I ain't slashing his tires.

I tried to build a clear timeline of Musk's attempts to gain complete control over AI.

He went from trying to do it at OpenAI, then Tesla, and now xAI.

Kimbal Musk, Elon's brother and Tesla board member/puppet, basically just called Trump a "retard".

I bet the Trump/Elon fallout is ahead of schedule.

What product? Energy? maybe, it's the only product growing, but it still doesn't justify a $900 billion valuation when EV deliveries are plunging and self-driving has become a liability since it can't deliver level 5 as promised on millions of vehicles.

Elon joins the US gov, Tesla surge, Elon leaves the US gov, $TSLA surge. It doesn't make sense. It's a meme stock.

I think Tesla has become a complete meme stock, and its value almost entirely hinges on people believing Elon Musk is a super genius and not a compulsive liar despite all the evidence to the contrary.

Even the most pessimistic analysts didn't expect 336k deliveries - 50,000 units fewer than last year.

The giant miss would point to especially bad performance in the US since we have pretty good visibility in Europe and China.

The biggest irony is that Musk was pushing those baseless claims of people getting paid to attend Tesla protests, while he was himself at a rally he organized to promote the Republican Candidate for Wisconsin Supreme Court where he was financially incentivizing people to attend.

Well, this explains how X's bank valuation went so quickly from ~$12B in 2024 back to ~$44B last month.

Musk had made the xAI offer, increasing the valuation.

Between SolarCity, his Tesla CEO compensation plan, and this, Musk is a master of negotiating with himself.

This should be a clear message to Tesla's shareholders and board $TSLA. Without Musk, Tesla would fair much better in the US.

It's important to note that the majority of respondents in this survey reported being moderate or conservative.

Canada already pulled the trigger. I wouldn't be surprised if more follow in their steps.

Separately, Tesla is also banned from future federal EV rebate programs in Canada – though this has more to do with the trade war than the suspicious filings.

Canadian gov confirmed that it froze Tesla's $43 million in rebates applied days before the pause of the EV rebate program in January.

Tesla is believed to have made thousands of claims before actually delivering the vehicles – leading to dealers who actually delivered EVs not getting the rebates.

He is not wrong but that's the old Model Y which basically hasn't been in production for a month. The inventory has been steadily going down since production ended thanks to deep discounts.

They still need to launch the non-Launch Edition and RWD, but the next important step to track demand in the US is going to be the launch of subsidized financing.

Tesla already launched 0% financing on the new Model Y in China. In the US, it should come later thanks to slower production ramp.

Tesla has no backlog of new Model Y Launch Edition orders in the US. New orders can be delivered same-day.

Elon on self-driving: if you think it won't get better, it's like believing that a toddler will stay a toddler forever.

Elon is living proof that one can stay a toddler forever.

Elon is using this pressure at Tesla to work employees harder. All he needs is more H-1B visas to be able to replace more workers if they don't get the message.

H-1B is Elon's solution to this problem. He doesn't like the 40-hour workweek & he likes to work his employees hard.

Since H-1B visas are tied to the employer/sponsor, foreign workers are under tremendous pressure from them to work hard since they could lose their visa if they are let go.
