I had that for a stretch too. Eventually the troll seemed to get bored and stopped (or just moved on to do it to someone else). Ironically it still counts as engagement for the YT algorithm and so is a positive. But it does suck to see those former 100%s go down into the 90%s.
I'm also in the "looking forward to this" camp and definitely think it'll be interesting. No pressure! 😆
