Y'all I'm so serious when I say that my best friends are the only thing keeping me on Meta. We mostly talk there, and if I manage to get them to transition, I am seriously considering deleting my Meta related apps (even though I'm supposed to be trying to be a streamer 😬)

I really want everyone to get the narrative right. Trump didn't hate Tiktok because of China, he hated TikTok because of the movements organized against him on TikTok.

Let me reiterate what I just said.

I want my social media to be able learning and joy. I'm doing a lot of learning (both socially and educational) and I want to share that journey and bring people with me. I also want to share in all the things that makes me happy.

Yeah... I'm getting tired of always opening the app and finding something that ticks me off almost immediately. I just want my social media to be about learning and joy.

I think I'm going to have to train myself on how to use this app. I just wish I could deactivate my Threads account.

Maybe I really do need to stay over here. Threads is starting to become overrun with people who clearly don't understand the English language in which they speak (I'm positive this isn't a ESL situation).

I really want to understand the mentality behind people who openly lie and have the nerves to get mad when you correct their lie.

Totally had a dude block me for providing proof that he was lying.

Marginalized people, poor people, disabled people etc. are always the first to warn society about an impending crisis. And they are almost always ignored. Yet, when everything collapses, they are the first to be abandoned. This is an unacceptable moral injustice.
