Been thinking about Carlos a lot lately. An illegal/undocumented - select your shibboleth - immigrant who gave more to this country than many born here, made headlines repeatedly, and ran towards the danger - as a civilian - during the Boston Bombings. Yeah, been thinking about Carlos a lot.

It's a good line, but it's pretty detached from how it all went down. Democrats in both the House and Senate widely voted for the ban, and a Democratic President signed it. I'm not sure how much attention folks were paying last spring, though, so I guess it could work.

I'm not really a TikTok guy...but while I do think this whole exercise is horrible, there is one big problem with this strategy...the Democrats were pretty complicit in how we got here.

I've been trying to tell folks for over a month that the focus on many of his nominee's moral failings is an intentional strategy to distract from their utter lack of qualifications and extreme ideological positions. A playbook perfected over the years with elected officials and judges.
