The best part about being a beginner is that you can get stupidly happy about getting very basic stuff to work. Here is me finally having a (somewhat) functional Lobby system for my online multiplayer space game in Godot.

Cute date idea: Playing Archipelago together, each playing their favorite game as a randomiser and sending each other items to progress.

I remember making a unity project and thinking "this would make a good template" and when I looked into how to add it as one, it was hell to set up.

Once again godot makes what should be easy easy again. 🐱

Behind the Scenes of: My Hood!
My wild hair would poke through the walls of the hood I'm wearing, so to make sure that doesn't happen I can toggle on an invisible "mask" in front of the head, so the hair only renders when viewed from the front.

Yet another detail: Not only the tail itself, but also the ears are controlled by Warudo Tail Assets, meaning their animation is entirely procedural and gives them more of a "natural" movement you wouldn't get from just a static animation.

Another detail: My teeth part depending on how far I open my jaw, allowing my to do a "teethy" smile without strange gaps. It also reacts to me sticking out my tongue, so it doesn't just clip through the closed teeth!

Little detail: My whiskers have physics AND follow my mouth movement.
