Now that the line-up has become known to the full group of our convenors, we have chosen to withdraw our collaboration and our name won't be on any publicity going forward.

The event is primarily being organised by the History of Religion seminar as a retirement for Nicholas Tyacke, who is one of its convenors and was previously one of ours. We agreed in principle to support the event since of course we'd like to honour him; at that time the line-up was unknown to us.

As some of you were aware, the name of the IHR Tudor and Stuart seminar was recently attached to a day conference that included David Starkey in its line-up. That will no longer be the case going forward.
