Is that a PbtA system?

Well, the aspect of a new super fits (they have just discovered their powers), but they're not teenagers. They're all adults. Is there a supplement for Masks that might help the rules fit better? Game takes place in the late 1930s, but they are much more powerful than standard Golden Age heroes.

Is Masks a good system to run non-teenage supers? I'm specifically looking for a PbtA system.

There are some fast methods. I was looking at one from a Vietnamese chef who runs a restaurant. That one was not quick or easy. 😀

Now I like "Grandpapa." Sounds dignified.

I called my grandpa "Papi Teno" (his name was Atenogenes). I might like being called "Papi Ren."

Trying to find a name to be called when I become a grandfather. Not sure I like the Southern ones like "Pepaw" or "Papaw" or "Pappy" or the traditional ones like "Gramps" or "Grampa" or "Grandad." The Latino ones are okay like "Buelito" or "Papi" but I'm not sure. What are your favorites?

I'm a contract worker so it's incredibly easy for me. For most people, I would imagine you simply don't file if you think you'll owe taxes as opposed to receiving a refund. Of course you could change your deductions so that they take almost nothing out in taxes.

Agree with this. A purely random game is of little interest to me (although some players dig it). I want my choices to drive the story and my dice rolls to be the guide of how exactly that happens.

I've seen countless GMs (and I have been guilty of it as well) ask for a general perception roll when players encounter a new situation. My instinct is to have the perceptive characters simply notice interesting things. A deeper, more thorough investigative search would require a skill check.
