Can any birders shed light on our flock of a thousand birds, maybe more (they surround our house and are more than you see in this video), that have been putting on quite the performance at Shama Sanctuary. It looks like starlings, robins, cardinals, and other little birds in the mix. #flock #birds

It’s important to know that a lot of productive activity is happening in person and offline, too.

Not all of it can be broadcast online, but we’ve had hundreds of people showing up to our trainings, mobilizations, and more.

Keep going. Tyranny is eroded by a sea of small acts. Everything matters.

Have new administration outrage fatigue? Try going for a walk. Distract yourself by identifying all the prints u see. See a human footprint? Imagine who belongs to the shoe and what their story is. Now take a deep cleansing breath & slowly exhale.

I didn’t even try to watch it. I figured I had much more important things to do… like clean the bathrooms.

There’s lots to be blue about today, like the passing of Cecile Richards, LA fires, and of course the felon, but it turns out there are lots of things to celebrate, too. Like the semi that pulled into our driveway to drop off this very exciting delivery. Any ideas what it is?

2025 is off to a good start. We harvested a rainbow of carrots from the garden before tonight’s freeze, and then feasted on black-eyed peas, a Southern tradition to ensure a year of good luck.

Talk about timely. At home in NJ the talk is all about swarms of drones and alien orbs. I devoured @matthaig.bsky.social’s “The Life Impossible” on my flight out of Seattle yesterday. If NJ’s orbs are anything like the benevolent La Presencia in Haig’s novel, then I say SIGN ME UP.

They fly over us every night. Hardly feels like a publicity stunt.

It's a good day to be a New Jerseyan.

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy signed a law Monday to prohibit public and school libraries from banning books in the state and to enshrine protections against civil and criminal charges for librarians who comply with the law.

There’s so much #fear in the world (here in NJ, it’s large mystery drones). It’s a hungry beast that feeds on anxiety. Mindful actions break the cycle. Like stepping on thin ice: the sound of crunch, visual of splintering, & feel of crackle underfoot. My breath deepens and I feel #innerpeace.

You are right. I feel like I won the jackpot by getting a conventional FMT. It not only saved my life, but it improved my life in so many amazing ways.

Just a playful morning tussle at Shama Sanctuary. Moments later these two young bucks were gnawing on some low lying branches together. Humans could learn some conflict resolutions skills from these two.

An FMT saved my life. The current FDA-approved products (Rebyota and Vowst) are not approved for children or fulminant C. diff cases. So unless the FDA extends enforcement discretion, people as sick as I was will needlessly die.

At first glance, this drought lake bed is a wasteland. But look closer, & seedlings are popping up, soaking up sun and growing taller each day.
