Painted Topshell, a lifer and quite a few live ones found, what a stunning species Broad-clawed or Hairy Porcelain Crab, about 60-100 individuals seen over 2 days Gracile Sea Spider, 1 found on the first day and followed up by 5+ more today Side-gilled Seaslug, 2 or 3 found

Aeolidia filomenae, common but beautiful nudibranch species, we found 5 individuals over the 2 days Sea Gherkin (Pawsonia saxicola), 2 found today and along with one unidentified brown sea cucumber found yesterday, our first ever sea cucumbers Tompot Blenny Common Brittle Star, 3 individuals found today

Two days of flipping rocks at Torquay beach has really paid off for myself and @kieope.bsky.social , with our best two tidepooling sessions we’ve had yet. 11 lifers and many other good species found! Couldn’t pick just 4 for pics so more in comments #rockpooling #wildlife #sealife #devon

Today @wildweevils.bsky.social and i went to Decoy Country Park in Newton Abbot and saw a group of 3 Treecreepers, which were a lifer for me! They were amazing to watch! We also got a Marsh Tit which we saw for half a second aha!

Herring Gull Gulls on Dawlish Warren beach Greenland lake being a bit more lakey A rather meagre big garden birdwatch count

Did the @rspb.bsky.social big garden birdwatch yesterday morning, and some gulling at @warrenbirding.bsky.social which produced less than hoped, but still a couple subad LBBG’s and at least one kittiwake close in off the seawall
