In no world can a party for whom their raison d'etre is almost entirely the protection of the planet, and therefore its citizens, be classed as right wing. Sorry.

If you don't think dramatically increased spending on public transport, active travel, sustainable energy, proposals for expansion of universal childcare, increases on health provisions and education is "left" then I'm very confused as to what you think left is.

Greens are clearly a left wing party, in the same sphere as the other 2 I mentioned.

The lack of a strong, single left party is such a pity in Ireland. Greens, SDs and Lab have around 15% combined. As a single party, with a single voice, I feel they could climb towards 20+ easily with a full campaign.
