Proxmox Virtual Environment 9.0 with Debian 13 released Latest announcements for Proxmox.

Going to leave it a while for the dust to settle (and maybe a 9.0.x release or two) but it looks like there's some upgrading at some point in my future.

Hopefully the inplace upgrade is nice and smooth.

I was also tempted to mention Person of Interest. It's a bit of a slow burner for the first season but worth it.

Underage kids don't have credit cards to pay for VPNs, adults do. The kids will find 'free VPNs' or other location shifting tools that don't have a monthly cost.

Twitter did (certainly at one point) have locked down accounts that only followers saw your posts and you had to authorise every follow request.

But yes, this isn't a replacement for FB. Especially if you want to post friends-only.

Sure, there's the old mantra of never putting anything online if you don't want it to be seen by everyone. However, a lot of us live in a middle ground where limited visibility of posts to a friends group (with the everpresent possibility of it being leaked) is preferrable to being completely public

So, a number of my Facebook friends are now picking up on this platform. Unfortunately this isn't going to replace FB anytime soon. FB allows friends-only posts where all posts on here are public. I don't see any way of making a post only visible to a friends group I control.

This might be helpful for people to find thier wider social crowd on here.
