Great to be elected to the Fellowship of the Royal Historical Society in this latest round and I'm looking forward to joining in on the activities of the Society over the next stage of my career.
If you can't make the launch but are interested in buying a copy you can get one from the University of Chicago Press
website, which also includes blurbs and a list of contributors and essays:

There should be copies of 'New Earth Histories' available for purchase as well as a selection of books written by the speakers. I'm really excited that co-editor Alison Bashford and I will be joined by Grace Karskens, Libby Robin, Leah Lui-Chivizhe, Ruth Morgan, Ruth Gamble, & Alessandro Antonello.
The book came out of a conference convened by Alison Bashford, Emily Kern, and Adam Bobbette in 2019, when I started working at UNSW. They've since put together this amazing book, which, according to Daniel Stolz 'radically resituates the history of earth-knowledge in space.'
In about a fortnight I'll be speaking with a few other colleagues at the launch of 'New Earth Histories.' Rego is free and includes a drink or two so if you're in Sydney and available please consider coming along to hear about some of the essays in the book.
