🌿✨ Great news for Czech nature!
The Czech government has officially approved the designation of the Soutok Protected Landscape Area, which should guarantee the conservation of 120 km2 of floodplain with alluvial forests and meadows in the triangle of land next to the Austrian and Slovak border.

It’s a good day for the ecology bookshelf, two #moss books arrived in the post from @artandenergycic.bsky.social to be used in peatland outreach events I’m involved in, and also for my partner to take to her work to use to teach primary school children about bryophytes
