Room 11 are making brilliant progress with their lighthouse technology project!

The towers are complete and now the real challenge begins — adding the wiring to create a working circuit with a flashing LED light. So much teamwork, problem-solving and determination on show!

Fantastic STEM session this week! With Robyn’s dad leading, pupils built and coded leaping LEGO frogs 🐸 Working in teams, they tested, tweaked and improved their designs before racing them. Brilliant collaboration, problem-solving and fun!

Flying, balancing and rolling into success! 🤸‍♀️ Our P6 pupils showed brilliant gymnastics skills today—rolls, jumps and balances in pairs and groups. Fantastic teamwork, support for one another and real determination to challenge themselves and improve their finishes.

Room 11 kicked off their lighthouse STEM builds, working in pairs to measure accurately, using tools safely and showing brilliant teamwork. Huge thanks to real-life engineer Andrew from Clansman Dynamics for sharing his expertise!

Cooking up a storm in Room 13 today! P7 pupils showed off their culinary skills and used seasonal vegetables to create a delicious carrot & parsnip soup. We had lots of visitors stop in to compliment how good our cooking smelled!

We reflected on the people, moments and memories that make us feel happy and loved. So much warmth in one room 🥰

Room 13 have be using their budgeting skills, preparing to host their own Christmas Day dinner!

There were definitely some surprised faces to see how expensive things are nowadays! But our P7’s worked well to create delicious looking menus that even Santa would be proud of! 🎄

Another outstanding performance from our SportsHall Athletics team! Our P6 and P7 pupils gave their all at the final competition of 2025! The results this team has come away with this term are a testament to the hard work and effort they have put in over the last few months! Well done #TeamBurnside
