In collaboration with Tanzania’s Ministry of Agriculture, the World Bank, with support from Weather Impact, TARI and ESoko, GCA convened an inception workshop for Technical Assistance to enhance #DCAS for smallholder farmers and scoped climate-resilient seed systems.

GCA will deliver climate risk assessments tailored to various climate change scenarios to strengthen resilience. In partnership with CGIAR’s ICRISAT, proven adaptation solutions will be implemented to benefit 1.5 million farmers, water user associations, and small and medium agribusinesses.

🌍🌾 GCA organized a kick-off meeting for Technical Assistance on the World Bank-funded Niger Livestock and Agriculture Modernization Project (LAMP), aimed at enhancing productivity, commercialization, and climate resilience in Niger's agri-food sector.

The roundtable brought together senior experts within banks, guarantee providers, institutional and impact investors, and project developers working to address the challenges of market flexibility, aiming to utilize financial products for enhancing resilient economies and climate adaptation.
