I can easily get £1 on metal/punk CDs and it makes more sense selling one decent one for a £1 then selling 10 for the same £1. We do really well that way. Those with rooms full of CDs selling them off at 10p each should just chuck 2/3 in the bin and start again

Not all chazza shops.....I put selected ones out. Always looking for pre-cert horror and the like. Certain Thomas The Tank Engine ones do silly money and no idea why.

Got quite excited as we had a load of non bar coded CDs from the early 80's donated including several Kate Bush. Only to discover they're not worth a lot. Oh well.

I have refused to do the 'X' number for a £1 that sometimes rears it's head. I point out that when that happens all the best go really quickly and you end up with rows and rows of Talk on Corners by The Corrs. Instead we have reduced the media section right down and only put out stuff likely to sell
