Happy to publish this piece from my PhD !

We used eDNA to investigate large-scale fish diversity patterns, and impact of human and environmental pressures on fish and sequence diversity 🐠🦈🧬

Many thanks to all collaborators ! https://x.com/ReeFishNews/status/1656242938840506368

End of two weeks of eDNA sampling in 6 Tanzanian marine reserves to assess 🐠 biodiversity, coupled with socio-economic interviews in coastal villages. A great adventure ! @wiomsa @IsiteMUSE

Glad to see the first paper of my PhD out !🐠🧬
We compared the performance of several bioinformatics programs for all steps of the analysis of fish eDNA data. We found differences for the taxonomic assignment step and the computation time ➑️http://doi.org/10.1111/1755-0998.13430
