Yeah! I think that kind of Akechi is the closest to his "real" personality. Like, if not for Yaldy, I think Akechi would be like that, still polite but not afraid to say harsh things either. PQ2 is such a gift bcs it's probably when Akechi feels he can be his true self and form a normal friendship
I enjoy the Thieves Den version of Akechi so much. His personality there is like in between Prince Akechi and 3rd sem Akechi. He fake-smiles but while throwing the most insulting words possible 🤣 he's such a little shit I love him
