i am not a woman in stem so i was not influenced by the scully effect in that manner BUT because of dana scully i have started buying myself nice silky pajama sets and i think that that scully effect has been just as important 😌

can you guys help me make a list of xfiles episodes where the root of the problem has something to do with the environment/nature? i’ve got darkness falls, firewalker, detour, and field trip, but what others do you think would fall in that category?

the other is set around s6 and has an expanded xfiles department where mulder and scully are working alongside spender and fowley. bc of the the tension, scully ends up taking spender as backup on a rescue mission to free gibson praise but things go off the rails when spender ditches her

one has mulder returning after faking his own death (i think, idk details are fuzzy) in order to help get scully to this secret facility/shelter where the kurt crawfords are in hiding.

i’m trying to find a few fics rn that i’d like to reread but bc i’m bad at keeping track of things i need help finding them again!
