The nature of love changes over time but is no less real for that. Your real other becomes a part of you. I can think of nothing worse than staying in the shallows of teenage style romantic love for ever. You’d never survive the tough times on such emotionally shallow foundations.

What’s astounding is your blithe and naïve confidence in the essential honesty and fair play of this and all future governments. If the American experience has taught us anything it’s that it’s unwise to assuming government will always use technology and information gathered from it in legal ways.
