We've already seen part of this take place with bounty hunting coming back online. If you get a crimestat for being a dick you have 3-4 people after you almost immediately, that alone weeds out alot of the idiots. Most of gank happens because their is 0 repercussions the rest is just natural pvp

I think the thing alot of people forget is SC will have a law and reputation system. Your actions will absolutely matter and if someone chooses to do that they are making life much harder for themselves. If you stick to highsec areas because thats your thing then your chances of gank go down alot

I think too many are worried about it changing things rather than thinking about what it will add

Its not like elite instancing that would kill the game as a whole, you will be instanced into missions and certain locations but that doesnt prevent someone from engaging you to and from that location.

Its okay if people feel unsatisfied with this citcon CIG has shown more and more the work rather than just saying things

Monthly reports are hugely important for everyone to read word for word, never read the summaries read it for yourself and it gives you a much better perspective of where the game is at and going, lots of AI navigation work that most creators/ppl dont cover along with a bunch of other stuff

Citcon always has these waves of people that haven't payed attention the whole year like every monthly report and they dont see CIG detail specifically what they want so they speculate and pass it off as the direction of the games ruined. Happens every year like clockwork. #StarCitizen

i think next year we will actually see alot more than people think and since they did a good job of setting expectations it will feel substantial the amount of stuff they will add to the game.

They didn't go into detail but more than a few times they mentioned fps scanning, engineering, quantum rework, base building ect. They talked about the stuff they know they can deliver and set expectations for those things.

CIG switches from overselling stuff they cant do within a year to only talking about stuff they know they can do in very near term with details and plans/goals and ppl lose their minds thinking we are getting nothing worth having a citcon for. #StarCitizen --

Yea thats fair, if i win a fight in an encounter id normally look around first for others then go back and try and talk to the person let them know its no big deal and res them. Thankfully look at this weeks roadmap update, FPS scanning is on there along with other good stuff

rarely happens to be people that want to be assholes, more often its the DayZ mentality of not having any information on the other poayer so you have to make the choice of fight or risk everything to be friendly. Unless they behave like it they are most likely just not wanting to die themselves.
