LSU DOCS is excited to announce a new BS in Coastal Meteorology.

"Our livelihoods in Louisiana are so intricately tied to the coast and to its weather that LSU is the natural place to study coastal meteorology,” said Robert Rohli, program director.

We’ve got a signal!

LSU researchers had a chance to test out the new High Frequency (HF) Radar 13 MHz antennae in Grand Isle and Buras of Louisiana last week. Each radar station stretches about 25 feet into the air and has a range of ~90 km, or 56 miles. 🧡
