Sonic has to be one of those one-in a-million genius character designs. Like the visual direction of his quills facing downward but his tail curving upward making the elements poking out from his back triangulate, it makes him look like he's in a constant smear frame from how fast he is.

In Super Mario Sunshine, Mario is immune to bees while talking. He will be pushed around by them, but not be harmed while he's engaged in conversation. Note that he is not simply immune to damage - e.g. he will still die to heat stroke while talking. It is specifically bees.
