They’re (I am saying this not as a critic on your taste but as a critic on their design) basic. Nothing in the shape form technology design color is interesting fashion wise. Which is boring AF for Star Trek to start with but that’s another conversation.

Yeah they’re big heavy black boots with a buckle and thick sole. Nothing in this design screams $700. I’m certain I can find modifiable dupes for $70.

I drop money for nice shoes. Key element here : NICE.
