A thing I really love about programming is stuff like this.
I don't remember what this does.
I don't even understand why this would do anything useful like this.
I'm not that great at programming so I don't know a lot of common ways to make things easier/faster.
I feel like I took about 50 turns today to re-code what I believe "JSON.stringify()" does in JavaScript.
I believe. I don't know.
It works but it just feels like re-inventing the wheel sometimes.
Usually in a situation like this I take a step (or several steps) back, think the whole thing through again and get back to working.
That can mean redoing everything or improving what is already on the table with some new idea.
Sometimes, this process repeats again and again but persistence is key.
