If I canβt figure a coding challenge out in 15/30/45 minutes for an easy/medium/hard question respectively, then Iβm looking up the answer, and trying again.
To me, itβs not enough return on investment for me to stay stuck on 1 problem longer than those ranges.
People really get peer pressured into switching to iPhone for iMessage blue bubbles alone ππ
Genius
You used to be able to win easier with even a mediocre idea because not as many people were executing on ideas.
Now a lot more people are executing faster with AI, so the idea itself is more important than ever..
Frontend: We are a fintech startup
Backend: Google Sheets + Plaid
Iβm just trying to make a top 40 under 40 list at this point..

βTrust the processβ
Right, but sometimes you also have to take control and re-define the process first
6 ways to get UNSTUCK when youβre coding:
1. SLOWLY re-read the code
2. Add debugging code
3. Draw the problem
4. Start with a βbadβ solution
5. Ask for help
6. Walk away for a while
What are ways you get unstuck?
If a software engineer deploys a fix before anyone notices, then was there really ever a bug?

I say the best programming language to learn first is the one youβre actually motivated to learn and wonβt quit on.
Once you learn one itβs easier to learn a 2nd, 3rd, etc.
Yes, some languages do tie to specializations, but donβt get stuck deciding for months like so many do.
Be an expert or look smart trying.
23.11.2024 16:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0To your point itβs βpossibleβ, and Iβd like to believe HR or the hiring manager know exactly what they are asking for here, but I wouldnβt.
Theyβd basically be asking for a Sr. React Native Developer thatβs been using it 90% of its existence, but the job description says Sr. Mobile App Developer.
Tech job descriptions be like:
βSenior mobile app developer - React Native experience - 7+ years requiredβ
React Native release: 2015
