Last Thursday, I spoke with Code Differently cohort students about my journey in tech.

Immediately after, I volunteered to conduct mock interviews at Resilient Coders Technical Interview Night.

A busy Thursday, but I enjoyed sharing my experiences and providing advice!

Iโ€™m guessing youโ€™re too young to remember the first 2 waves of social networks

Not only the popular ones that failed (MySpace, Google+) but there were lots of ones you never heard of (chime, ping, meerkat)

How To Implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD) in Golang The easy way of learning how to use DDD in a Go application

My friend who codes in Java regularly shared this blog that takes a Domain Driven Design approach https://programmingpercy.tech/blog/how-to-domain-driven-design-ddd-golang/

As much as I disagree with him and his Java takes, I donโ€™t have much to fight him with here ๐Ÿ˜‚

What I love about Technical Writing is that it forces you to view concepts and think as a beginner. If your document canโ€™t cater to the inexperienced audience, then perhaps your document is not translated enough.

Reddit users are literally fighting the company for access to THEIR user-generated content.

This is when the idea of decoupling user data from applications really looks appealing.

I really enjoy systems design. At my current level, I donโ€™t get opportunity to participate in those discussions. I spent

I appreciate CodedByKids for having me as a judge for their 2023 Ctrl+Shift coding competition. As a Philly native and once a high school student, itโ€™s amazing to see kids getting the exposure and opportunity in tech!
