Successful morning handling press for our SOS NHS Corridor care protest with @keepournhspublic.bsky.social et al.
It's a topic that's gone far too quiet lately but has a detrimental and long lasting impact on patients & staff.
16,600 AVOIDABLE deaths every year. Where's the outrage from govt??

Petition: Fund a COVID-19 Booster Vaccination for All NHS Healthcare Workers
We call on the Government to fund routine COVID-19 booster vaccinations for all NHS healthcare workers, regardless of age or underlying conditions.
βFrontline staff can face continued risk of workplace exposure to COVID, and lack of access to vaccination can increase the chance of illness, staff absences, and transmission to vulnerable patients. Protecting NHS workers protects patients.β

βThis looks like another example of a hugely wasteful IT contract, and the lack of public trust will make it unworkable. They ought to end the contract or not renew it and accept that the public is very concerned...β

Yesterday we joined @greenparty.org.uk leader @zackpolanski.bsky.social as he handed in a βtermination of contractβ letter to Palantir.
We oppose Palantir NHS contracts because a secretive surveillance firm linked to the Gaza genocide has no place handling our public health data.

We don't only offer comment to the UK press and media!
Here's our co-chair @drjohnpuntis.bsky.social being interviewed in a Turkish newspaper recently.
It's important to us that international audiences also understand the issues in our NHS.

My dad's 72, rushed into hospital with possible pneumonia. Now in a corridor and told it'll probably be the morning (c15hrs) before he'll see a doctor.
Seems therefore perfectly logical that Streeting is driving even more of them abroad π.
We are the 6th richest world economy. I am so done.
