I made my bed earlier today, expecting my dog to get comfy right away. It was until he got done making a fucking mess with the sheets, that he was finally comfortable.

There’s a type of comfort I feel when my Friday and Saturday nights consist of staying home with my wife and dog, and that’s it. A comfort I enjoy dearly.

Never watched the movie, but I loved the books!

To fight the desire for another cup of coffee, I’ll be having an herbal tea instead!

I didn’t know either, until I went to one of the local shops near me that sells them. Now, I need to find a case that works with left-handed Field Notes, and I’m all set!

The smiling pot is holding a sign saying, “Thank you for helping me GROW.” There is a gray block that has white writing on it. The two sides that you can only see have the sayings, “Keep calm” and “Just breathe”. On top of that, is a letter “K” written in crayon on a piece of paper.

It’s a new journal day! I was excited to crack this open and start writing in it.

The frustrating thing about company surveys is that they're not anonymous, no matter how they spin it. I can’t be too harsh without risking my job.

The one thing I practiced more on social media over the last year is my alt texts on photos. Now, to write good alt texts is the next challenge!

A benefit of working from home is I get to enjoy having my buddy here with me!

A skill that I lack with cooking and baking is being able to eyeball how much of something goes into the ingredients. I’m using a measuring spoon or cup, and sometimes flattening it out, just so I have the perfect amount.

Sundays for my wife and I consists of: early morning meal prepping, and watching NFL for the rest of the day. I love it.

While my dog needs to rest after finding out from the vet that he likely is experiencing spinal injury, I look to be free this weekend. Think of getting some writing done, watch a movie, or give mapmaking a try. Who knows!
