God bless the cost of living crisis. I truly thank you all for taking the time to read, like, repost, and even potentially donate to help me take the edge off even the slightest bit. It’s been wonderful feeling even slightly less alone in this. I hope this paints a better 10/11

source of income being reduced drastically. My dad is nowhere around to help, neither is my little brothers, and my other family members simply don’t earn enough to also support us, and I’d feel horrible for even asking at this point. We’re all in the shit. 9/11

Mentally function properly. Everything from my cats getting fleas on and off seemingly at random, despite them being indoors cats and us taking the appropriate measures to get rid of them, to nursery fees, to barely being able to afford food, to now our only current 8/11

Despite recently going through therapy and trying antidepressants to take any of the edge off, it feels as if all of my progress made was erased in one fell swoop, and I’ve been set into one of the most ferocious mental health slumps of my life. I can barely move, yet alone 7/11

And seemingly no way of paying them. Despite my efforts to get a job that I wont be physically incapable of, with 100+ applications sent out, I only received 1 interview. Absolutely smashed it, yet still was not deemed good enough, assuming because of my medical history. 6/11

benefits may be revoked, along with my mothers being cut down. We’ve never been a particularly wealthy family, pretty much only living on the line to get by each month. But with this news, and now that my SEN little brother is starting nursery, we have additional fees 5/11

There have been talks with my doctor about needing a wheelchair in the future if my condition continues to worsen at the rate it is now. Unfortunately, despite the heaps of pain and medical suffering that I have endured, I have received a letter disclosing that my disability 4/11

for the better part of 3 years, recently being given a walking cane at the grand age of 19, due to equal parts muscle weakness and the weight that I have put on from lack of muscle exercise. I struggle with walking long distances, and need assistance with hills and stairs. 3/11

supervision, which would typically be to/from school, to/from my family members houses, and that’s about it really. This lack of muscle usage as a child has led to me being an extremely weak person, particularly my legs, and I have suffered with worsening mobility issues 2/11

For some additional context, my disability stems from a blood condition that I had as a child, I.T.P, characterised by a lack of blood platelets. The smallest cuts and grazes could bleed for an absurdly long time, and thus it was too unsafe for me to go outside without heavy 1/11

Those of you who may know me may already be familiar with a difficult time I’m going through: completely acing an interview for a life changing job and still didn’t get it.

Day later receiving a letter about how I’m potentially losing my disability payments and will have literally 0 income.
