The importance of PC maintenance - my machine had developed a quirk of stalling out (not crashing or freezing, but slowing WAY down and losing internet) when moving big stuff between SSDs.

Updated all my motherboard drivers & bios and it's throwing stuff around at 3gb/s without a hitch again.
