The Charge of Genocide - Dissent Magazine South Africa’s willingness to file a case with the International Court of Justice is a sign that the old tactics used to police discourse about genocide have lost much of their power.

"the UN General Assembly recognized the 1982 Israeli-sponsored massacre of Palestinian refugees in Sabra and Shatila in Lebanon as an act of genocide. This history is part of the backdrop for South Africa’s legal intervention."

That Daniel Penny and Daniel Perry and Kyle Rittenhouse and George Zimmerman are all walking around free in the most carceral nation in the world is something that demands a reckoning.

Listening to Françoise Moudouthe and Edwige Dro discussing how Eyala was born out of frustration and the need for conversation among Francophone feminists. Since its creation, Eyala has been a space of reflection and action about embodying feminisms.

Papers authored by Black, Hispanic or Asian economists receive 5.1% to 9.6% fewer citations than those by White scholars.

The citation gap is largely driven by homophily in citation patterns and racial clusters in networks (i.e., cite authors from own racial group).

If you do not think there is something amiss with Kenya's participation in the planned intervention in Haiti, there is a problem. Silencing which guns? Who is wielding the master's tools to dismantle whose house?
