A multi-stitch panorama of the bright pink Aurora Australis with the Milky Way shining above it. The foreground is framed by the rock ledges and the ocean. There are a host of bright lights on the horizon created by the fleet of large coal ships that are always present off the coastline here waiting to head into the Port of Newcastle. Photographed on June 1st, 2025 at Norah Head, NSW Australia (approximately 1hr North of Sydney). It's rare to see the Aurora this far north.

We rarely get to see the Southern Aurora this far north.

Wishing I had more time but could only squeeze in 30 mins that day. Grateful to have seen it at all given it's my first viewing of it in person.

A man in a black suit with a long black coat and black fedora walks across the train crossing on a dark, rainy, foggy night. The road curves in a 'S' shape ahead, crossing the tracks briefly before twisting through the snaking curve towards town. The light from the twin telegraph pole lights above the crossing are shrouded in fog, and cast an eerie glow just far enough to illuminate the Man in Black. Photographed at the old rail crossing at the entryway to the City of Cessnock on the edge of Hunter Valley Wine Country, New South Wales, Australia.
The Man in Black
Shot at 1am on a foggy, rainy night, there was very little editing required for this image. I love it when the stars align and everything just falls into place.

Who were your earliest #creative #inspirations?
My Dad actually started me on the creative path after setting up a darkroom in the concrete tubs in the laundry of our 80 year old home.
I still remember him letting me watch the prints develop and feeling like it was some kind of magic

A photo of international Burlesque Performer Diesel Darling set amongst vintage props including a host from Baz Luhrmann's epic Moulin Rouge. Clothing created and styled by Diesel include a sumptuous pink lace floor length skirt with large side split, gold lamΓ© mini skirt wrap, bare midriiff with a custom made bikini bustiere made of exotic tropical flowers, a Carmemn Miranda inspired headress made of fruit and flowers topped with large pink and gold feathers. Diesel is standing in a dancers pose with her weight on her front leg appearing through the side split of the skirt and look back over her should to someone out of scene. She has her hands on her hips and the most amazing smile. The set around Diesel is a sumptuous mix of 1920's decor, vintage paintings, ostrich feathers, vintage candelabra with burning candles, a golf framed print of a leopard, an old ruby red chaise lounge and various vintage showgirl attire hanging from an antique folding change screen.
I once found myself betwixt one of Australia's best #burlesque performers in a studio space housing loads of the original props from #moulinrouge movie.
Getting to style this scene and then shoot it was a dream.

Timeless beauty in monochrome: The SacrΓ©-CΕur Basilica - Paris. A moment frozen in time, where history and artistry meet the clouds. This black and white photo of the famous SacrΓ©-CΕur Basilica - Paris shows rays of light coming out from behind large fluffy white clouds towards the church. Many people walk the stairs or picnic on the grassy hillside leading to the church. While the church was designed in the Romana-Byzantine architectural style to make it look ancient, the building was built in 1914 and is only 110 years old. One of the key features of the design is the use of Chateau-Landon stone, which exudes calcite when it rains, causing the stone to become a bright white.

Some people will be shocked to find out that none of these muppets actually have a single f&$king clue about how the government actually operates or what it takes to run one of the largest nations in the world.
Here's a clue... It's 10,000 times more complicated than building cars.

Summer in the Victorian Alps - Australia Shot whilst hiking in the Mt Buffalo #nationalpark I hiked over a few small ridges to find this scene of ragged boulders teetering upon each other as the stormy clouds raced above them stretched out before me. What makes this image so dramatic are the white trunks of trees that surround the base of the boulders and down the edge of the hillside that have been permanently left pure white from the heat of previous bushfires. The shite trunks contrast against the dark green foliage growing up underneath it. #landscapephotography #photography #bnw

A wide 3:1 ratio panoramic drone shot of the internationally renown Hunter Valley Wine Country region (NSW Australia). Storm clouds roll in over the Brokenback Range towards the valley with vines in full bloom making a distinct contrast between the foreboding clouds and the lush green rows of grape vines that stretch from the foreground all the way to the foothills of the distant mountains. We are right in the middle of harvest at this time of year in Australia. The historic Ben Ean winery is in view on the bottom left of the frame and the equally ancient vines of Audrey Wilkinson vineyard fill the right-hand side of the view.

It has bright orange, brown and black striped plumage and distinctive red eyes Unlike most cuckoos, it makes its own nest. The female Coucal is larger than it's male counterpart. Coucals mate for life and both male and female parents take care of their young.
