Week 6: Turning Knobs I spent way too long building wheel controls for tuning the engine. But they work now!

Made a virtual engine using the new screen interface from last week. Formative, but fun.

Chocolatier & Campfire Stories I've done a decent amount of TTRPGs in the last decade or so. Recently, I've had an opportunity to breathe back into life a number of short tabletop games from my very distant past, and I've been lovi...

My second tabletop game, Chocolatier, is now live on itch. It's been great getting to revisit these older documents and give them a glow up. Read about them both here: vertex-rim.ghost.io/choco/

Week 3: Building Life Support Building new mechanics is my favorite part of the process.

Grinding so hard, I didn't post this yesterday, but I have a post now talking about the oxygen system I built in Running Late. Still formative, but exciting progress!

Interior view of a spaceship cockpit with leather seats in the center facing toward navigation consoles with multiple screens and control panels. The cramped space features chunky wall panels and utilitarian lighting. The aesthetic is industrial and functional, with beige and brown color tones throughout.

Just finished the blockout of the ship cabin for Running Late.

Week 0: Foundations and First Assets New beginnings are a mixed bag. They can be equal parts terrifying and terrific, a jumble of emotions. But here I am, shouting into the void with a voice that carries my entire being.

Week 0 blog post is live. Turns out starting a game studio involves a lot of paperwork and wittering about asset store purchases. But hey, at least I have a logo now and a game concept that's definitely within scope. For now. vertex-rim.ghost.io/week-0-found...
