When you think about it, bread is a type of self-skinning expanding foam and could be used for making rarsuits.
Which foam do you use? Always looking for new material to try.
Maybe growing up poor did it, but it absolutely blows my mind how wasteful people are. I still pull perfectly good material from the trash. Wood, metal, plastic, functional electronics. Got 45' of fence panels the other day! Why buy something to throw away? Use it or give it to someone in need!

When I was planning the Minotaur, I wanted to have removable horns for travel and storage, but they also had LED strips. So how to easily connect the power AND be solidly anchoed? A strong magnet that doubles as a touch power contact!
This is so true it hurts. Have ideas and a goal, but be prepared to make compromises. Sometimes things just dont work like they do in your head.

Hey it works! Added some lights to the giant monster paw sculpture, took me a minute to figure out how to light the eye using a translucent material that wouldn't look corny and had some depth when unlit. Ended up using layers of acrylic with cellophane under a glass cabochon, will post a

I think we're going to finally spruce up our Halloween costumes this year. Pretty happy with the heads still but the rest might get redone.

Went to the artist meet up the other day. Despite my being a half mad hermit, I think it went well. Met some folks, talked a little shop, and planned some projects. It was nice to physically be amongst my people, and I'm excited to do it again.
Now, more than ever, it's good to find community.

Benny is currently at the vet. He wasn't eating, or drinking water. He was vomiting and couldn't even stand up.
The vet bill is going to be roughly $1,500 and that's not including if he needs x-rays.
