why is it that the absolute worst health crises always happen at 11:30 pm on a friday ? How does my body knows this is *peak emergency inconvenience time* and statically the WORST time to need an Emergency Room ? 😭. My body needs to start planing for Tuesday at 10am for medical issues. FML

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. Early on, people seemed more careful and considerate with how they wrote...they were thinking about tone + how others would read it. Over time, that’s faded. Without body language/vocal cues, text comes across as sharper/argumentative or more reactive than intended.

I’ve seen so many people spreading the misinformation that PBS is shut down or is shutting down.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has been shut down and PBS has been defunded.

HOWEVER!!! PBS still exists. It is more important now than ever that you donate to PBS if you can.

....the employee went on some rant about the Canada Post strike (which made NO sense to me) since I was asking specifically about email coupons. I wasn’t talking about flyers...our local ones are delivered by Metroland Media, not Canada Post.

I’m writing to ask why you stopped sending email coupons. One of the main reasons I signed up for your advertising emails was to get coupons and recipe ideas, so I’m really surprised to see coupons now only available in-store or on paper flyers. Considering Bulk Barn’s emphasis on sustainability, it feels a bit contradictory to push paper coupons and flyers. Honestly, my paper flyers usually go straight into the recycling. I see a lot of my neighbors do the same. Digital coupons felt way more convenient (and planet-friendly!) I’d love to see them come back. And if they were pulled just because too many people were using them...why not just adjust the discount instead of scrapping them altogether? They still make way more sense than paper ones. I’ve currently got five expired Bulk Barn coupons stuck to my fridge, so... yeah. Also, you don’t include recipes in your emails anymore. There was a time you sent tons, which was awesome, but now, nothing. If you are only posting them on your website now, could you include a quick link when something new goes up? Even better...ask people to send in their own seasonal recipes (with photos!) and feature a few. I understand that adding that to the website requires someone to do the adding, but adding it to an email should be easier. 3 to 6 recipes a year doesn’t seem like it’d be too much, and it’d definitely be appreciated. If email coupons and recipes are officially gone, could you please update the promo graphic on your site that advertises them? Feels kinda misleading if they’re no longer part of the sign up. Wow, you didn’t even read my email message. The entire point of it was that you don’t send email coupons anymore, and your reply was a copy‑and‑paste response that didn’t address a single point I raised. I took the time to write out detailed feedback and specific questions, and it’s really frustrating to get a canned response that ignores everything I said. To be clear: - I’ve been signed up for Bulk Barn emails for years. - I already know how to access and show coupons on my phone. - That’s not what I was asking about. What I wanted to know, and still need an actual answer to, is: Are email coupons officially discontinued? Are recipes officially discontinued from emails? If you answer yes to either, will you update your website to remove features you no longer offer? If not discontinued, when can customers expect them to return? Good Afternoon, I’m writing as a concerned resident of Hamilton about the proposed changes to Ontario’s Endangered Species Act and the new Species Conservation Act, 2025. The government is pushing these changes as a way to “speed up” development, but honestly, it feels like a blatant attempt to gut environmental protections under the guise of efficiency, just like what we saw with the Greenbelt scandal. We all watched the Ford government get caught handing over protected land to developers behind closed doors. Now, we’re supposed to believe these sweeping changes to species protections are about balance? Come on. This bill isn’t about balance, it’s about power. It gives Ford’s cabinet and their developer buddies the freedom to bulldoze through what’s left of our protected spaces. Relax the rules a little, and they’ll move the line even further in a year or two. This isn't "streamlining"...it's rigging the system. Ontario’s motto is "Ut incepit fidelis sic permanet" ("Loyal she began, loyal she remains"). That loyalty should extend to the land, the wildlife, and the ecosystems that make this province home. Endangered species can’t speak for themselves, but they’re a part of what makes Ontario worth fighting for, and they deserve more than being sacrificed for short-term profits. Yes, we need housing. But what’s the point if we’re paving over everything that matters? We can absolutely have both. If the Ford government focused on fixing zoning, setbacks, stairwell rules, and parking minimums instead of selling off natural heritage, we wouldn’t even be here. What good is a house if you can’t drink the water or breathe the air? And let’s be clear...the reason things take two years isn’t because of protections for wildlife. It’s because the agencies doing the reviews are underfunded and stuck in bureaucratic bottlenecks. Fix that. Don’t go tearing up critical habitat or building more houses on flood-prone wetlands just to say you're getting things done. I’m asking y…

My male cat had this surgery at 6. He kept getting crystals in his bladder that blocked his urethra. Special food didn’t help. Vet said it happens to some male cats where diet change is ineffective. But Cosmo adapted to pee like a girl with no issues and lived to 20 years old. 😺
