Finally made time to finish recapping the GameCube logic board, optical drive board and external psu. Few more things left before checking all works.😬🤞

Having to grind away at the inside of the shell to get as flush as possible but also don’t want to risk the integrity of the shell in the area.

Not much to report but got some progress.

For my test I used a clear shell but am also working on a template to reuse the IR shield from the color for solid shells as well.

SMTendo and POW Block stock is up! It's not much, so I'll be opening pre-orders depending on how quickly I sell through so that I can have enough for the next round!

Had a successful first test of @mousebitelabs.bsky.social DMGC with IR implemented. I did however notice some minor issues unrelated I would like to correct for the next go around.

Dmgc IR board is progressing. I have a few components I am still awaiting to begin testing.

The 001 boards with both ports seem to be the more upgrade friendly as there is more available moddable options for them.

Ran into a GameCube bundle recently for a fair price so I decided to pick it up. However after doing so I have been trying to decide whether or not to upgrade the board since I have a 101 version it does not have a serial 2 port or digital video output.

Finally got the test IR board’s in so will probably start populating it this week though am still waiting on components to arrive. Also I sure do wish I had a better image with cleaner lines for my artwork to place on it. 🫤
