The fire here will go for a while, Paris. Damage done but so far manageable from what I know. I feel for the RFS and the workers though.
I do love the bike- overkill maybe, but the suspension is a back saver and i have room for everything.
Came out to see a fire burning on the other side of town. Strong winds and hot weather have provided some serious challenges to getting it under control. This one started as a result of a battery in the waste management centre. Took the big bike to get up some big hills. #bikesky #cargobike

I’ve definitely found the limit of ‘there’s no bad weather for cycling, just bad clothing’. With this heatwave I reached my limit early in the week. The bike is parked. It reached 41 today and was still 39.2 at 8pm this evening. Two more days of above 40 degrees to go. #bikesky

I’m going to add a few things:
I live in regional Australia, so having no car makes life very difficult.
I bought a good bike (and this is my privilege) instead of a new car.
E-bike means less car trips. And this is ok. It’s different for everyone.
