Amid uncertainty, Afghan refugee kids face immense challenges in their temporary homes.

We partnered with University of Peshawar to train 50 refugee teachers in a “pedagogy of care”. These teachers support 1,500+ students with safer, more inclusive classrooms.

Our Toronto Chapter visited a family resettled through our Safe Harbour Program. The highlight: their 5-year-old daughter leading joyful games of musical chairs and hide & seek! Through Safe Harbour, 122 at-risk Afghans now live freely in Canada.
