I think that someone decided to sell ppl on the idea of Easter baskets for Halloween called “boo baskets” which then became brrr baskets for winter/xmas? It’s just rich moms on tiktok making up fake capitalist traditions so they can spend $650 at target, as far as I can tell.

I think Elon is behind the drones. He’s just trying to pump up that company he and DTJ have boners about

Any one else disturbed by the amount of comments on tiktok by people who don’t believe space is real?

Every year I buy a new pair of moderately priced winter gloves and by December of the following year I only have one. Does Luke Skywalker come rummage through my hall closet?

The people who respond to the idea of Canada becoming a US state by saying “don’t forget Canada is the reason for the Geneva Convention” are the exact people who should leave

Colleges in Florida have minimum requirements for writing/reading called the Gordon Rule. The lore 20 years ago was that a state politician’s son graduated with a BA in FL without being able to read. I can’t find anything to back that up but it would not surprise me.

Yes Twitter had bots and trolls and corporate mascots tweeting promo codes. But at some point the tide turned where everyone was just asking me to subscribe, buy, follow elsewhere with no other engagement.

Some people On Here are in denial that a big part of why Twitter and Threads suck is bc professionally online people made them their self-promo dumping grounds

Starting to see a lot of “Kids today will never understand” Boomerism from Gen X/millenials on TikTok and offer the humble reminder that being nostalgic for something does not make it good.

If they put the tariffs on Canada, we are reclaiming the Ryans Gosling and Reynolds. You guys keep Drake.

Amazon Instagram ad that reads: “Hikers hidden suspenders for untucked men, invisible belt, alternative XL”. The accompanying photo is of a white middle-aged man lifting up a gray T-shirt to show off a strappy, suspenders-like thing underneath his shirt. The device appears to be clamped or attached under his jeans to what is presumably his tighty Whiteys? I don’t know. The whole whole thing is fucking weird.

I don’t trust eyewitness accounts of things that happened before the advent of modern optometry. The mystery of the 1561 Nuremberg celestial phenomena could be solved with transition lenses.
