This was really informative; I've been looking at Stargrave and Frostgrave minis for kitbashing recently and knowing that they come with so many options is a big plus

My opinion of their old owners was already low, but I couldn't believe they didn't even surrender the cats to a shelter. Just let them loose; not spayed or neutered, no shots or vaccines, totally abandoned.

They're delightful creatures, so full of love. I was ten kinds of pissed off when I found out their previous owners just left them behind. Poor things were outside crying to be let into an empty home.

Hobbying has slowed down due to the two newest (and fussiest) members of the family! Pepper and Pesto were neighborhood cats for a year, but their owners moved away and abandoned them on the street. A call to the Humane Society confirmed that no one was coming back for them, so we adopted them!

The Game Gear had the same problem and I went through so many batteries that my parents eventually made it a rule that I could only play it while plugged into the AC adapter.

I know the feeling; my feed is full of incredibly skilled and talented painters and I only see the flaws in my own work, but I know I'm getting better every day. Take pride in what you DO paint and try to improve with each new mini. Remember: ANY painted mini is better than an unpainted one!
