The female sea turtle is getting good rehab care. Article photo did show vets cleaning her shell, revealing 2 older injuries on her top shell. They will check for internal injuries. There are reasons she couldn’t swim fast enough to dissuade the organisms from hitching a ride & covering her. ❤️🐢

Cleaned my tortoise boy’s face today with a warmed up Q-tip. He is more apt to allow a wet warmed Q-tip to gently wipe his face clean of any dust debris and any skin segment shedding about his nose & top of head. I’m careful of his eyes of course. Afterwards, he suns under the lights.

Thank you so much😊 I learned something new. They eat snails as their primary food source. The snail shells will give them a good calcium source. Cute to appreciate at a distance in the wild. Their bite force to crack snail shells would do serious damage to fingers. Pet trade needs to leave them be.

Ouch! I have nothing to complain about in comparison. Your area is a lot worse! I know Hawaii and Southern California can be expensive. Didn’t know Arizona was riding the high gas prices bus. I did buy a hybrid about 3 months ago b/c my 2012 Prius rusted out bad. It’s fuel economy will help some.

So, I drove by a gas station with cheapest gas is $3.499 per gallon today. 2 days ago it was 3.299. So, about 10 cents a day the price goes up. It will be 10 days to bring it to $4.499 per gallon if the rate of increase stays the same.
