Early this morning, our city still plunged into darkness, I set off to walk the Brooklyn Bridge.

As the sun came up, we were joined by canvassers, labor leaders, elected officials, and working people — a movement to bring a new day to our city.

It was an incredible experience to visit Cuba as a delegate in 2023, and an even better one to lead this 2025 delegation along with my intrepid @dsacuba.bsky.social co-chair @cblechman.bsky.social. On this trip we proved yet again that Cuba is a uniting issue for DSA. We will end the US blockade!
