@legalafmtn.bsky.social can you please do a deep dive into a ruling by Judge Jon S. Tigar of California seemly blocking Trump's executive order to not allow HUD grant funds be spent on immigrants and trans persons? The requirements seem very "don't help people we don't like"

She could have told them that the sky was blue and grass was green and they wouldn't have believed her.
I have absolutely lost all faith in this country. I am more upset for the next generation that had no say but will have to deal with the worst of the fallout.

As the mother to a teen girl, I think about this constantly.
I was concerned before Roe was defeated, now I am terrified.
If it comes to it, I will be one of those people that gets arrested for bringing her daughter across state lines.

But Trump hires the best people 🙄

I have asked that many times and they usually point to the unemployment numbers or stock markets. Which means nothing. They are a mirage.

I was reminded about this recently. They will deflect and what-about into a loop. The best part is they accuse your of blindly following bad actors, but have to do mental gymnastics to keep their world view in check.
They are hopeless and I'm done trying.
