The characters I liked getting taken out at the beginning of the competition. Congrats on geats for winning but the alliances that were formed during this made things so uninteresting. I hope they go back to a more traditional tournament system next time, because I really didn't enjoy it much.

With champions Island all said and done (well the important bit) I think it's safe to say that I've outgrown events like this. I did not really enjoy it whatsoever. I could never attend any of the actual games because I work during the hours they were going on, and i'll I got to see is...

She's got some really good matchups, I'm glad she got through! Id say of the four that were chosen, its weird to see meta Knight stay in the contest. Probably the most boring in terms of matchups for the 4 of them

How is everyone feeling about the champion island concept? It's not something I am personally into, but it is interesting in theory

I'm not sure how you feel, but i thought that Mikans words about Junko made the dynamic seem really interesting. But then the anime happened, and I think it killed a lot of the more interesting aspects about junko for me

I feel like connections are such a small part of the pie for me. Connections, contrasts, series rivalries, legacy, and just plain stupid fun deserves a place on Death Battle. As long as the writer is creative, almost any idea can flourish. I mean just look at Spongebob Vs. Aquaman lol

Oh yeah, that sucks. I'm very open-minded when it comes to matchups, I can find value in almost anything, lol. It's fine to have preferred opponents, but highlight the differences instead of why it's inferior lol

He looked at other matchups and said that they were good but played into a separate theme that he personally found important. I think it's fair to use comparisons to make a good point. But it just needs to be done respectfully

Me and you happen to have some differences here. I think comparisons are fair as long as you expound on what makes it different. For example, the pitch on cell vs. Dioboromon...
