27.02.2026 14:19 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I'm not assuming guilt here because I do not have access to all the evidence. What has surfaced seems pretty compelling and my immediate thoughts are, he is a guilty nonce, BUT I am not a court of law and with the standing principle of innocent until proven guilty I will decline to judge

I have often thought about having a common sense platform
I have many common sense policies I would like to put forward.

I don’t even think many of them are racists. They are just scared, and cunning grifters like #FagashFührer are giving them a scapegoat, a bogeyman to focus that fear on.
The fascists are funded by billionaires who want to keep the people down and in control. This all just plays into their agenda
I would refuse. He might get Mr Windsor

12. Proportional Representation. First past the post has not been fit for purpose for decades.
13. Centrally funded and auditable election campaigning. Strict limits. Live fact checking applied. Personal penalties for proven lies.
11. No subsidised food. No subsidised bar. No second-home expenses, see point 2.
12. Constituency offices centrally funded and staffed with civil servants. If family members are employed then salary must come from MP, not expensable.
9. Absolute ban on second jobs unless required to maintain competency such as medical or legal.
10. Recognising that to get high quality MPs you need to pay well so a salary of £250k. (With deductions for poor attendance record)
7. Business donations limited to £5,000 per annum and never to an individual MP. Always to the party.
8. Retiring MPs to have a 5 year ban on working in an industry they had any responsibility for.
5. Serious penalties when an MP is proven to have lied in office. Serious fines initially and up to removal from office for a 3rd strike (by-election)
6. Individual donations limited to a maximum of £500 per year. Must be a UK citizen or permissible Right to Stay.
3. Refurbish the Palace of Westminster at considerably less cost as they don’t have the headache of trying to keep functioning. Open it as a tourist attraction when complete.
4. Forced by-election on MP defections
2. Attached hotel building each room having an office. No more second home expenses nonsense. Improved security at reduced cost.

My plans for Parliament
1. Purpose built chambers for Commons and Lords. Designed on the less adversarial horseshoe seating with electronic voting. New chambers to be built in a Central England location for reduced travel time for MPs, likely Birmingham. Manchester also possible.
And that is of course the problem. The algorithms that feed many of these voters confirmation biases because that aligns with the billionaire owner of the platform’s motives
27.02.2026 11:10 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Exactly. Refusal to modernise and bring the seat of Parliament into the current time!
27.02.2026 11:09 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Dare I say it they’re also people just desperate for MPs who promise to DO something. Both Tories & Labour have spent too long not actually doing anything visibly positive for people. We are tired and desperate for some visible improvement and voting Labour or Tory would just be more of the same.
