Media outlets who refuse to describe in plain terms what the president did because they find it objectionable are lying to their audiences and running cover for the president. It's as simple as that.

I went to the Boston No Kings rally because it's where I live. I had the incredible luck to be there when the one big trans story of No Kings unfolded.

Ed Markey's support of trans rights, which is not new, contrasts with challenger Seth Moulton's weaselly attempts to scapegoat trans kids.

Rose Lavelle’s goal is particularly funny given the extensive breakdown of how challenging it would be to score near post around the wall

All week the pro-Israel and pro-Trump supporters screamed at us, in unison: why aren’t you celebrating the ceasefire??

Because we knew it wouldn’t last. But even I didn’t think it’d be over in less than a week. What a complete & utter humiliation for Trump, thanks to Netanyahu.

Don’t let the frogwater that’s boiling us alive let you skip over this: we murdered another country’s citizens in cold blood, and when their leader objected, we called him a drug dealer and cut off aid to his country. That’s freakish.

Most athletes have chosen to β€˜shut up and dribble’ over Gaza | Nathan Kalman-Lamb and Derek Silva Why have so few athletes spoken about Gaza? Fear of backlash, lost sponsors and being branded antisemitic all help explain the silence

Ever wonder why so few athletes in North America have spoken about Israel's genocide in Gaza?

We did too... so we asked some to find out.

Answers include "fear of losing sponsorships," "the McCarthyist response from government,” and β€œZionists gaslighting and doxxing people."

I think this might be too sweet for some people but FM doesn't smell super sweet to me, more very ambery. And GWF could easily tip over into the too sweet so stacking them balances them out in such a nice way

When Israel bombs Gaza after pledging itself to a ceasefire, we apparently need to say this is a β€œTest of ceasefire” to avoid saying what is blatantly obvious, that this is a violation of the ceasefire

Again, I’ll keep on repeating this: Israel does not do ceasefires unless forced to.

It doesn't matter WHAT she does, it doesn't matter what ANYONE ELSE does, she will always have people on her back calling her out of her name and saying she's ruining the game that she is literally playing with her friends, who invited her to be there, and are having fun.

No tear gas. No rubber bullets. No military. No police in riot gear. No incidents.

Why?

No Black people. They reserve the violence for us even when we’re being peaceful too.

Because they're facist 😭 i think people keep thinking I'm exaggerating when I say that but I'm not. And it's not new. A newspaper that would knowingly employ a nazi sympathizer as Berlin bureau chief because he got them access to Hitler is not a paper that will help uphold democracy.

Hope folks feel less alone today, that people join with others to take further and deeper actions, and that everyone fights like hell to protect those most vulnerable to this regime.

I'm sure many of you have heard by now that earlier this week, IU k*lled the print edition of its student paper, the IDS. The issue that was supposed to print this week contained criticism of the Whitten regime and IUs further slide into scist control, and they couldn't allow that to happen during Homecoming, when all the rich alumni are in town.
Enter Purdue! The Purdue student paper, The Exponent, owns its own presses. Yesterday, in an act of tremendous solidarity with their biggest rival school, they printed the forbidden issue of the IDS. They then drove it to Bloomington overnight and stocked all of the IDS boxes on campus, just in time for Homecoming.
Solidarity is what makes us stronger, and solidarity will be what ultimately allows us to triumph, if we can ever truly get it together. I hope everyone has a fun, safe day if they're going out today, and I hope we can think about what acts of solidarity we can begin taking to really make this movement MOVE - beyond a permitted expression of upset into more active resistance.

Purdue to the rescue of IU student newspaper, whose institution was attempting censorship. Details in alt!
